DESCRIPTION:Description/Special Instructions: "Championing Change: Redefini
 ng Support Systems for Individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental 
 Disabilities (IDD) in the Context of Domestic Violence Experiences" is a t
 raining program addressing the intersection of IDD and domestic violence. 
 Through real-life examples\, participants learn about the unique challenge
 s faced by individuals with IDD\, including communication barriers and rel
 iance on caregivers. The training focuses on empowering participants to ad
 vocate for support systems that promote safety and inclusion\, covering av
 ailable services\, reporting procedures\, and legal and ethical considerat
 ions. Ultimately\, the program aims to inspire collective action to create
  a safer environment for individuals with IDD experiencing domestic violen
