DESCRIPTION:This course will provide a comprehensive fair housing training 
 for staff at social service providers or nonprofits that regularly work wi
 th clients or community members around housing issues. The course will pro
 vide an overview of local\, state\, and federal fair housing laws\, includ
 ing protections against discrimination for protected classes and recent ca
 ses. Participants will learn about fair housing protections\, reasonable a
 ccommodations and modifications for people with disabilities\, and how to 
 assist clients with reporting illegal housing discrimination.\n\nThis trai
 ning will only be offered virtually through Microsoft Teams. A link to the
  training will be sent via email a week beforehand. Two CEUs through the O
 hio Social Work Board will be offered if the entire training is attended.\
