 or and microwave will be available. This training is for NEW hires or staf
 f who have never taken the CoC Mandated Training before. This training is 
 required for CoC projects that serve families. Presented by Melanie Palmer
 \, IMFT-S\, Training Officer Child Focus The training includes techniques 
 to give child-care providers the information they need to not only identif
 y and understand child maltreatment\, but to engage families regarding acc
 ess to parent education\, social connections\, and concrete supports in th
 eir communities. Questions for discussion\, ways to take action\, and sugg
 estions are all part of this experience. This curriculum has been designed
  to meet the training requirement for child abuse and neglect recognition 
 and prevention as outlined in the Ohio Department of Job and Family Servic
 es Licensing Rules with the addition of the language of the Strengthening 
 Families Initiative.
