DESCRIPTION:Description/Special Instructions: This training program is desi
 gned for case managers and supervisors engaged in assisting individuals ex
 periencing homelessness\, aiming to enhance their understanding of Managed
  Care Organizations (MCOs) and Medicaid requirements. The focus is on empo
 wering participants with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively su
 pport clients on their journey towards stability. Managed Care Organizatio
 ns play a pivotal role in the healthcare landscape\, particularly for indi
 viduals facing homelessness. The training will delve into the fundamental 
 concepts of MCOs\, describing their functions\, structures\, and the diver
 se services they offer. Participants will gain insights into how MCOs can 
 collaborate with service providers. Participants will be equipped with pra
 ctical tools and best practices to advocate for their clients within the f
 ramework of Managed Care Organizations. The training will also cover effec
 tive communication strategies with MCOs and how to leverage available reso
